Trekking in Nepal

Early in the morning, drive 3 hrs to Dolakha (Mude) east of Kathmandu. The trek provides some magnificent panoramas of the eastern Nepal Himalaya. This trek in particular provides an opportunity to encounter the realities of harsh mountain life, the area is particularly poor and desperately needs development. The trek commences at Trisuli Bazzar two hours by road north of Kathmandu .This is not a difficult six days, it is likely to appeal to less ardent trekkers and families with younger children. The journey takes you through some ancient settlements and a variety of ethnic groups and cultures which provides the opportunity to experience Nepali farming life at close hand. Bhairav Kunda - means in a holy lake named after a destructive name of lord Shiva the "Bhairav". The "Bhairav Kunda" is located to the northeast of Kathmandu and next right to Panch Pokhari and closer to Nepal - Tibet boundary. After breakfast we take a bus ride out of the Valley and up through the hills. After 41/2 hours bus ride we arrive at the trek starting point called Jalbire. Panch Pokhari is named after 5 holy ponds and Hindus religiously respect the place. This is just northeast of Kathmandu toward snow wall. The beautiful Himalayan view and pristine nature with distinct culture is the most attraction of the trek.
