Shivapuri is is a protected zone situated on the northern rim of the Kathmandu valley, the streams that eminate from here provide fresh drinking water for a major portion of the valleys inhabitants. At 2,732 metres there is a spectacular view of the Kathmandu valley. Much of the trek is through undisturbed thick oak forest, If you are lucky you may come accross spotted dear, monkeys and jackals on the trail. You can see the Panaromic macief views from this Trail.You can see langtang Lirung,Mount Everest,Nuptse,Mount Manaslu,Ganesh himal,Gaurishankar & more as well as sunrise and sunset views.

Great Trip with Champawati Tours & Travel,
I had the pleasure of Champawati Tours & Travel in January 2006 to Trek to The Annapurna Base Camp which took around two week this included white water rafting on our way to Pokhara which was fantastic. We had 1 night in Pokhara before our trekking began and Champawati Travel made sure we were prepared and ready for the following day. Champawati Travel Provided excellent Guide who is experience, fantastic and knowledge of the Annapurna area which was very interesting.
