Annapurna Region Trekking
The diverse terrain and variety of cultures of the region north of Pokhara make each day's walk a different experience and make the area the most popular destination in the country. Four favorite treks, each with minimum of about one week and maximum of three week treks, to Kali-Gandaki basin include Manang region, Annapurna range, Jomsom and the Annapurna Sanctuary. Alpine meadows, moraines, glaciers and breathtaking views of the Annapurna range abound. The three hundred kilometer Annapurna Circuit combines the first two areas by crossing high altitude pass, Manang Thorang-La (5360 meters) and takes up to three weeks to complete.

The trek completely circumnavigates the Annarpana massif, considered a classic by many trekkers; it provides a whole range of experiences from lowland paddy fields to the windswept valleys of the Manang district on to the high pass of Thorung la (5416mtrs). Annapurna Base Camp Trekking
A trek that takes you to the base of Annapurna 1 where you are surrounded by a circle of high mountains towering almost vertically above you. The route in is not too taxing, more a gradual push up. Jomsom- Muktinath Trekking

Ghorepani- Poonhill Trekking
This is one of the most pleasant low altitude treks in the Annapurna region. We start the trek in Nayapul an hours drive from Pokhara. Soon after commencing the trek we reach Birethanti at the confluence of two river valleys, after refreshments we take the left fork to follow the Bharungdi Khola (river) before climbing to the ridge at Tirkhedhunga (1150mtr). The beauty of this part of Nepal is that you do not have to trek long to have some wonderful close up views

Siklish has been developed by the Annapurna Conservation Project as a model village and is an integral part of their eco trekking project that seeks to spread awareness for both tourists and locals of the need to preserve the delicate envireonment of the area.Siklish is a large Gurung village north of Pokhara, it is recognised as an extremely well preserved example of typical Gurung life. Narphu Valley Trekking
This is probably the best trek of Annapurna region and for those who want to explore hidden valley and trek off the beaten crossing through Challenging high passes like Masokanto La (5099m), Kangla pass (5200m) & Tilicho Pass (5230m) with beautiful Lake Tilicho. Hidden by swirls of mountain mist ahead of us, from Kangla pass at 5200m the magnificent panorama view of Annapurna massif appears remote and forbidding. Our destination is the Nar-Phu valley
Tilicho Lake Trekking
Situated in the Annapurna range of the Central Nepal Himalaya Tilicho Tal ( lake) at 4,919m is one of the highest of its size in the world. It stretches for 4km and is about 1km wide and lies at the foot of Tilocho peak 7,134 mtrs. This Trans-Himalayan adventure begins with a spectacular flight from Kathmandu or Pokhara up the Marsyangdi valley to the airstrip at Hongde, in the Manang district. Jomsom- Dolpo Trekking
The Dolpo region was opened in 1989 with the Shey Phoksundo National Park, established in 1984 to preserve a large portion of the land in the area. It is extremely impressive, with many passes over 5000 metres. The region maintains a strong cultural Buddhist tradition with most inhabitants speaking the Tibetan language. Great Trip with Champawati Tours & Travel,
I had the pleasure of Champawati Tours & Travel in January 2006 to Trek to The Annapurna Base Camp which took around two week this included white water rafting on our way to Pokhara which was fantastic. We had 1 night in Pokhara before our trekking began and Champawati Travel made sure we were prepared and ready for the following day. Champawati Travel Provided excellent Guide who is experience, fantastic and knowledge of the Annapurna area which was very interesting.
